About the Strip:
Closet Oddity is just about a bunch of things that happen to two friends,
one of which is gay. It's not really ment to set an example or speak for
anyone else, just to entertain. Hopefully you can connect to it on some
level though. I started the strip because I needed something to do while
waiting for a ride at college. At that time I wasn't sure if I was even
going to bother scanning them and putting the strips on the internet.
My friend Anna is really the main reason I ever did. She liked the idea
and still gets on my ass when i am late on updates. Anna is also a source
for many of the things that happen in the strip. Either from her life
alone or ours together. She does like to think that Alex is based off
of her.... I suppose that is true but at the same time Alex is just another
extension of me
About the Characters:
Trent:
The main character and "hero" Never quite fit in and it somewhat anti-social.
Still has sudden urges to take part in life and be social. Did manage
to find frienship with Alex, who he is able to share most anything with.
Trent is still struggling somewhat with being gay. Just seems to add complications
to his life. Oh, and if your wondering... that is not a hunch on his back,
it is just that Trent has bad posture........ REALLY bad posture apparently
Alex:
Cynical, bitchy, and saracastic. What more could you want? Another social
outcast like Trent. She just doesn't fit the typical female mold... actually
its been debated if she is female or not. Pueberty sure wasnt kind to
her in that regard.
About Me:
I am a 20 year old from south east Michigan. Currently working on an art
degree (working as in, I technically go to school...... I may or may not
be passing anything) I get a kick out of making the strip and don't really
care if I end up flipping burgers for a living as long as i can still
make the strip and show it on the internet. Unfortunetly I am also a procrastinator,
so sometimes that catches up with me and I fall a little behind (that
and i'm prone to mood swings, and I decided I don't want to get out of
bed for a week........ don't date me if you know whats good for you)
